Luke Swanson Rigging Manager I was born and raised in the Tidewater area and grew up exploring the Chesapeake Bay & Eastern Shore waters along with their tributaries. I came from a family of boat builders and watermen. I attended Virginia tech where I received a B.L. in Architecture, and from there went on to start my own architecture and landscaping business until I came to work at Norfolk Marine in 2002. Here I cut my teeth in the parts department and worked my way up to the Assistant Service Manager and Customer Service Manager. I took great care and pride in making sure our customers were well informed on the operation, care, and maintenance of their new boat. To further my education in the marine industry I obtained my 50 Ton Captain’s License w/ towing endorsements and I still to this day help Sea Tow in my spare time assisting boaters in distress. My most recent career move has landed me at the helm of the Rigging Department as Manager of one of the busiest boat sales dealerships in the Mid-Atlantic. I look forward to customizing each boat to the customer’s unique specifications and love exceeding their expectations.
